Price Industries continues to enhance their industry leading Critical Controls product offering by adding both a state of the art Touchscreen Room Pressure Monitor (PMT) as well as a Multi-Variable Monitor (MVM).
The Touchscreen Room Pressure Monitor (PMT) provides precise room pressure monitoring for critical spaces such as isolation rooms, operating rooms, and compounding pharmacies. The monitor meets both the ASHRAE 170 Healthcare Ventilation Standard and the USP 800 and USP 797 Hazardous Drugs – Handling in Healthcare Settings requirements. Using an innovative contamination resistant pressure sensor, the PMT can accurately measure room pressure without risk of degradation over time. The PMT utilizes native BACnet MS/TP communication to seamlessly connect into the Building Management System. The touchscreen monitor is BTL certified, providing simple yet dependable network integration.
The Price Multi-Variable Monitor (MVM) is a touchscreen monitor that is able to communicate to multiple devices. The MVM can be used as a remote station to monitor multiple rooms as it displays critical information for each room. The monitor displays BACnet points including alarm status, room temperature and humidity, room pressure, air change rate per hour and occupancy.

Price Venturi Valves
Price Venturi Valves (VV) are mechanically pressure independent control valves designed specifically for room pressure and fume hood control applications. The highly engineered internal plunger assembly ensures the valve will respond to changes in duct static pressure in less than one second, while turndown ratios in excess of 16:1 serve to maximize energy savings in unoccupied or minimum flow set-points.
Each valve is factory calibrated, then characterized by flow to valve position using the latest N.I.S.T. traceable equipment to ensure dependable and repeatable valve accuracy. Price Venturi Valves are accurate to +/- 5% of flow when operated within the pressure range. Valve accuracy is unaffected by inlet conditions and does not require any minimum distance of straight duct on the inlet or outlet of the unit.
Available in constant or variable air volume configurations, the Price Venturi Valve is able to control flow without the need for measuring devices in the airstream, eliminating the possibility of lint or other airborne particulates interfering with the control or accuracy of the valve. Instead, electronic flow feedback is generated using a precision potentiometer in combination with the Price Linear Module (LM) to output a VDC signal linearly proportional to airflow. The LM output works seamlessly with Price controls and simplifies the task of field programming when integrating Price Venturi Valves with 3rd party controls.
Price Venturi Valves are available with integrated silencers and/or HW or electric reheat coils as AHRI certified assemblies. All silencers and reheat coils are manufactured in-house with designs optimized for close-coupling with the Price Venturi Valve.
Fume Hood Controller
With response times of less than 1 second, the Price Fume Hood Controller (PFHC) satisfies the stringent requirements of ANSI Z9.5-2003. The PFHC supports multiple devices and comes standard with an analog input for monitoring static pressure across the valve, ensuring minimum static pressures are met while also facilitating energy savings when duct static pressures are too high.
Each controller incorporates easy-to-navigate microprocessor based menus with an intuitive user interface that features a backlit LCD screen, seamless keypad and antimicrobial infused casing.
Laboratory Space Controller
Laboratories are typically designed to exhibit negative differential room pressure relative to adjacent spaces, thus ensuring there is no escape of airborne contaminants or fumes through exfiltration. The Price Laboratory Space Controller (PLSC) is a digital controller that maintains a consistent volumetric offset between supply, fume hood and general exhaust air valves in VAV systems to ensure accurate control of room pressure.
The PLSC combines the accuracy of direct digital control with the flexibility of an individual room control system, providing maximum control and efficiency. This configurable proportional integral controller allows for exceptional comfort and energy efficiency. Wiring of the controller, fume hoods and thermostats is simple and error proof with RJ-45 connectors to each device and the BACnet network, with settings that are easily adjustable in the field. The PLSC is also BTL certified native BACnet, and allows for simple integration with building management systems.

All technicians have been thoroughly trained and tested by Price in order to assure our dedicated customers of a first class critical control system that functions per design on day one.
